Nagarkot is only worth the trip with a clear sky, so keep an eye on the forecast before that leg. The drive up there takes about an hour and a half from Kathmandu, so there's room to adjust the schedule if the weather looks better a day later. Evenings on the ridge run cold, so bring a jacket even outside winter.
